Kinnfolk's third studio album, "Star Above the Mountain," is a collection of original Celtic music inspired by their hometown of Roanoke, Virginia. What began in 2022 as a songwriting project funded by the City of Roanoke and the National Endowment for the Arts is now a fully-produced, 10-track album featuring 8 original songs and 2 trad favorites!

Kinnfolk's debut album! Josh and Julie Kinn weave bouzouki, bodhran, and smooth vocal harmonies in their Celtic folk music from the heart of the Blue Ridge Mountains. The duo’s musical style is heavily influenced by the sounds of the Roanoke, Virginia traditional Irish session, where they met in 2017.
